The story.
I started on the sales floor. Not because someone put me there — because that's where the work happens. You learn more about what a dealer needs in six months on the floor than six years in a conference room.
I taught myself to code because waiting for someone else to build what I could see wasn't an option. Built an agency from scratch, ran it for 11 years, and learned the hard way that nobody was going to build the tools I needed. So I built them myself.
18+ years later, the arc looks like this: sales floors to AI products, local PPC to marketing leadership, one-man operation to founding Vandoko. The thread through all of it — a borderline manic fixation on the details that actually matter, combined with a refusal to accept defeat.
“Borderline manic tendencies and a touch of OCD aren't bugs — they're features.”
The automotive industry is full of people who talk about change. Conference circuit types who publish books and sell sponsorships. Sales bros who optimize for views, not depth. Anonymous commentators who have opinions but no operational skin in the game.
I'm none of those. I'm the guy who sees what winning looks like for the dealer before anyone else does, fixates on the details, and solves the problems that actually move the needle. Not from a stage — from the trenches.
If you're the kind of person who senses the wave coming but can't quite put your finger on what it means — I'm not going to give you a masterclass. I'm going to hold the flashlight while you find the path.
The path.
VP of Marketing
Strolid
Vin Micciche has known me since my retail days. I believed in Strolid before most people knew what they were building. Designed their first website for free when they were still figuring things out. Now I'm here to scale the marketing engine for a company I've believed in from day one.
Founder
Vandoko
Vandoko is what happens when you can't stop building. It's the parent brand for everything I create — from a data platform that gives dealers real-time competitive intelligence to an agency that proves you don't need 40 people and a 6-month timeline to get results.
National Sales Director
Dealerverse
Led national sales strategy for an AI-powered automotive SaaS platform. Spearheaded the go-to-market push in a space where most players are still figuring out what AI actually does for the dealer.
Founder & CEO
OOMDO
OOMDO was where I learned that nobody was going to build the tools I needed — so I built them myself. Eleven years of running an agency taught me everything about what dealers actually need versus what vendors try to sell them. That gap is where every idea I've had since comes from.
Director of Search Marketing
Lia Auto Group
Managed SEO and SEM across a multi-dealership group. Drove the gains in digital engagement and lead conversion that built my foundation in automotive digital marketing — back when you could still track pretty much everything in GA.
What I write about.
Four lanes. All rooted in 18 years of doing it wrong, then doing it right.
The Wave
AI, technology shifts, and market disruption that professionals can sense but can't name. Translating the tremor into actionable clarity.
The Details
Obsessive operational excellence. The specific, granular decisions that separate winning from losing in automotive retail.
The Build
What it looks like to build real things — from code to companies to campaigns — without the masterclass veneer.
The Path
For the sensing professional. Not motivation — direction. The nudge, the bump, and the guide.
Get the signal.
The wave is here. Most are still on the beach debating what that sound is. This is how you get ahead of it — real insights, real experience, zero fluff.
